We typically work on a day-rate or fixed-scope basis, depending on the engagement. For clearly defined pieces of work, we'll propose a fixed price. For more exploratory or ongoing work, a day rate keeps things flexible and transparent. We're always upfront about costs, timelines, and trade-offs before any work begins.
Do you work with early-stage startups? +
Yes. We regularly work with early-stage founders, including pre-seed and seed-stage startups. We're used to balancing speed, budget, and technical quality—and helping founders make sensible decisions early on.
What size teams do you provide? +
We keep teams small and senior. Most engagements involve one or two experienced engineers, sometimes supported by additional specialists if needed. You won't be handed off to a junior-heavy delivery team.
Can you work alongside our existing team? +
Absolutely. We often embed alongside internal teams, contributing hands-on development, architectural guidance, or short-term support to help unblock progress or accelerate delivery.
Do you offer short-term or part-time engagements? +
Yes. We support short-term, part-time, and fractional engagements, including advisory work, hands-on development, and team augmentation. We'll help you choose an engagement model that fits your needs and constraints.
What happens after the initial project? +
That's up to you. Some clients continue working with us on an ongoing basis, while others use us to deliver a specific piece of work and then take things in-house. We're comfortable with both and design our work to support a clean handover if needed.
